m i adding pressure on myself.. or m i just not ready to take up a leadership position? i m definitely not power hungry... but i m definitely a passionate person.. i wanna do wat i believe in n overseas community project is wat i wanna do... sighz... before the project can kick start.. i'm already worried i wun b up to it!! i need a confident boost! HELP!! luckily there is alwaz sumone ard to support me.. did a cheer-up card n make "milo-van" milo for me! thx 4 everythink... guess its e stress.. late nites, presentations, tut, krv n now yep... haiz.. but i wun give up... =)

okie.. enuff of sadz stuff.. todae i received a package from Make-a-wish foundation n guess wat! i'm an official volunteer with a id card even! haha duno y.. but receiving tat card is realli rewarding... remember the golf tournament tat mi n dear volunteered it! n there are even complimentary tickets for the Nokia Starlight Cinema- Outdoor cinema on-screen festival! so exciting! yeah!! happi!

its the 2nd wk of our academic yr n also e cuming end of our slacking period... once tutorial kicks in.. its going to b challenging to juggle study with play n work (nt confirmed yet)... nevertheless.. i'm glad tat i made the choice to stay in hall at least for tis sem.. being a new senior in hall is really a different experience n there r many things tat u will nv tink of toking bout with ur peers.. all start cuming up.. blk comm.. comm chair.. jcrc.. n all the "underhand" stuff tat were only meant for seniors' ears... its exciting yet scary.. to put urself back in the freshies shoes n realize e things tat happen in the past all over again.... juz differently...

soo much for halll... well as for bizad... i feel myself slowly detached from being a "bizader".. no more marketing comm.. no more foc main comm... juz a student studying business.. its nt a bad tink.. cos at the end.. wat i gt out of all tat experience r friends.. nt juz some... its nice to walk ard in sch... n meet familiar faces as u walk down the lecture halls... :) so no regrets!

all is well so far.. n i hope ur life is too!! updates soon i guess!

e dae started on a positive note.. first time we met a friendly cab uncle.. we suppose to reach the golf course at 930am bt apparently we reach e bus stop at 940 n i estimate we b damn late if we slowly walk in.. so juz nice.. a cab appeared n we boarded.. e uncle asked if we goin to play golf.. but i said we doing charity event.. it cost us $3.50.. bt upon alighting.. the uncle sae charge us $3.00 enuff already!! sooo nice rite... haha nt tat its a big diff.. bt shows there r nice cab uncles ard.... :)

sally gave us our golf polo tee to get change.. n put our bags in the locker rooms... then we process to our duties which is decorate e buggies!!

there is over 100 buggies to deco... n we had no time to lose... hot weather man.. luckily gt sponsor caps to wear! i helped put up the strimmers while dear helped with the make-a-wish flags... haha he gt tired after a while n decided to rest bt kina "scolded" by another volunteer to "chop chop".. haha poor guy... but i muz sae the welfare treatment is nt bad.. haha gt cap.. gt unlimited supply of drinks to quench our thirst.. n i nt mean juz plain water bt many many cans of 100 plus n henikens as well.. haha even dear oso cannot help bt open one can to drink.... c him trying to act rich among the rich... :)



but seriously.. i dunno how rich these gentlemen n ladies r.. but from e wae they tok... carry themselves.. they definitely r the wealthy bunch.. 1 raffle ticket cost $2 but when i approach them to buy.. its either $10... to $50 worth of tickets.. definitely nt sumtink i will experience everyday... bt its oso shows their kindess n their bid for charity!

our duties in the afternoon was to take charge of the novelty hole whereby the longest shot will win a NOKIA fone! its fun to c how e golfers took their shots while we enjoy e scenery as well... here's a glimpse of wat a golf course looks like.. for peeps hu dun tink they will ever step into a golf range... juz like mi :)

at around 6pm.. e dae finally ended! its definitely a self fulfilling dae! n i'm soooo happy we came! e end! :)

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?" The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big padi, but he wonders may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realize that the padi is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted !!!! So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand. The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked. The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick. The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher. The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage."

there could b many messages behind this story...its subjective.. but for me.. the message i gt is tat u have to cherish wat u have in front of u.. dun alwaz tink tat there is a better one out there for u.. bcos by the time u lose the one in front of u n realized tat its the best one already.. its too late.. so i believe in cherishing the present... it could b e best u ever had... :)

i'm so ecstatic going on tis trip! =)

madness shopping.buffet.seafood. n mayb enjoy a spa or massage. total enjoyment n of cos great company! haha its a short 4 days trip but i'm prepared to burn a big hole in mi pocket n become dark n bring 2 or more bags home. so EXCITING! haha

n after i'm back, i will spend e next dae at a golf tournament @ Laguna Country Club
Reasons for being sooo excited:
1. Charity event
2. Raise funds for sick kids to fulfill their wishes
3. First golf experience
4. C all e rich golfers flaunt their skills n of cos $$
5. e SUN!
6. first auction experience
7. spend a meaningful dae with dear!

i luv volunteering =) it makes mi feel sooo good!

took a dae off 2 rest n relax @ east coast park n e weather was on our side. luckily.



my very first attempt at baking. brownies in fact. a last min tink tat cost mi 2 wake up early @ 7am to bake... a good first try i hope.. he sae its quite okie.. i find it abit hard n e ice-cream we bought melted in the hot sun :( shall do it again sumtime.. but A for effort lah hor :)



then we went on with our initial motive of going ecp.. which is rollerblading.. he nv blade before n its been ages since i last blade.. so Y nt... haha



after much blading.. or so call balancing n trying nt to fall down..we had fun i guess :) i wasnt a gd teacher cos i was bad myself.. but he pick it up quite fast... though nt much credit should b given to me lah.. in fact i spend more time laughing n taking video of him blading...haha

after sum suntanning in the sand n playing with water n showering.. we went to explore ecp abit in order 2 find e place we wanted to dine! name is turQuoise n its l bistro! haha esp for ppl like me hu gets cold easily in air con places... its a nice cosy corner... haha n check out the big mushroom we ordered for appeitizer... haha $10 for tat piece of vege.. or is it considered a vege..





after a whole dae at e beach... picnicing, blading, suntanning, eating n lookin at stars... its finally time to go home.. a happy 3 month :)
